 For support with gender identity, sexuality, or crises, LGBTQIA+ hotlines offer help from community members. 

The Trevor Project:

 LGBTQIA+ youth can contact The Trevor Project for crisis support, suicide prevention, or a safe space to talk. Chat online or text START to 678678. 

Trans Lifeline: 

1-877-565-8860

 The Trans Lifeline offers support for transgender and questioning callers, run by trans people. They provide crisis support and guidance for those questioning their gender. The hotline operates from 7 a.m. to 1 a.m. PST, with operators often available during off-hours.

 2-1-1:

A Texas Health and Human Services Commission program, connects Texans with essential services. 

2-1-1 Texas helps users find resources like food, housing, childcare, crisis counseling, and substance abuse treatment. Whether you're struggling with your gender identity or sexuality, or are experiencing a crisis and want to talk to someone who is part of the LGBTQIA+ community, you can lean on these hotlines.

  9-8-8:

 The new national hotline for suicide prevention and mental health emergencies. It connects callers to trained counselors and local crisis response teams for immediate help. 

The 988 system offers 24/7 crisis centers, mobile crisis teams, and crisis stabilization programs.
